CONTEST RULES

Eligible Projects:  1) Residential projects must total at least $5,000; 2) Contracts must be signed and work started after 11/1/07; and 3) Projects must be completed and paid in full during each contest period in order to be eligible.  Eligible projects for the same homeowner will be combined for the purpose of determining eligibility.

ResidentialProjects:  All work performed on single-family homes under a CEC contract with the same homeowner.

Completed and Paid in Full:  Residential projects will be considered for eligibility once the project has been completed as specified in the contract and all payments have been made as specified in the contract, including any addendums or change orders.

Contest periods / Drawing dates:  

              November 1, 2007 - January 31, 2008 / Drawing date 2/10/2008

              February 1, 2008 - June 30, 2008 / Drawing date 7/10/2008

              July 1, 2008 - December 31, 2008 / Drawing date 1/10/2009

Eligible Entries:  One automatic entry for each $5,000 of eligible projects during each contest period (e.g., eligible projects $7,200 = 1 entry; eligible projects $16,500 = 3 entries).  All entries for each homeowner will be entered into the drawing for the highest category eligible.  For example, Helen Homeowner had eligible projects totaling $23,900 completed between Feb 1 and Jun 30, 2008; Helen will receive 4 automatic entries into the Category 3 drawing to be held on 7/10/2008.

Prize Categories and Prizes:  One prize will be awarded for each category with eligible entries on each drawing date as follows:   

              Category 1:  $  5,000 - $10,000.................................Prize $300 gift certificate

              Category 2:  $10,001 - $20,000.................................Prize $500 gift certificate              

              Category 3:  $20,001 - $40,000.................................Prize $750 gift certificate

              Category 4:  $40,001 - $50,000.................................Prize $1,000 gift certificate

              Category 5:  over $50,000.........................................Prize $1,500 gift certificate

Gift Certificates:  Gift certificates are redeemable towards future services/products by CEC (see Redemption of Gift Certificates).  Future services/products are those contracted or purchased by Homeowner with CEC on or after the drawing date of the winning certificate.

Redemption of Gift Certificates: Gift certificates may be applied towards future services/ products as follows:  1) Services contracted by Homeowner with CEC at the rate of 20% off the labor portion of the services as calculated by CEC up to the full value of the certificate, and/or 2) Products purchased by Homeowner from Custom Edge Creations at the rate of 20% off the full retail value or price (excluding tax) of the product up to the value of the certificate.  The certificate value will be reduced with each purchase until used in full.  Gift certificates must be presented at time of payment and cannot be used towards prior purchases.  Gift certificates expire one year from date of issue, are non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or on sale items, and have no cash value.

Changes/Restrictions/Exclusions:  Commercial or industrial projects are ineligible for this contest.  Drawings will be held on the drawing date for each category containing eligible entries.  One prize for each category will be awarded on each drawing date.  If there are no entries in one or more category, then no prize will be awarded.  This contest may be modified or changed at any time as determined by CEC.
